Is it more dumb to drive a Prius, have a SCION plate, or drive a Prius with a SCION plate?

If it was part of a meticulous attempt to persuade others that this was a Scion, along with replacing all Toyota badges, I could accept it. That at least would be the product of crazy, and not stupid. The kind of crazy that's often funny to watch.

My guess is that he used to own an xB in college or something and then got older and softer and just transferred his custom plate over instead of getting rid of it.

Perhaps it is the owner that's a scion… of the world's premier Prius owning family?

Not to sound condescending, but you know "scion" is a word, right? It's not just a brand of low-end Toyotas.
